Tennessee Wesleyan College, a small liberal arts institution has, since its founding in 1854, had its roots in the Methodist church. The main campus in downtown Athens is near I-75 midway between Chattanooga and Knoxville in the heart of the Sweetwater Valley; less than an hour’s drive east loom the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest. The Merner Pfeiffer Library is a beautiful neo-classical structure built in 1941 and renovated to highlight excellent print collections, study areas, and the latest technology alongside its rich heritage of early archival collections dating from the 1700’s. Collections presented here include yearbooks, college catalogs, and Methodist historical materials.Browse by Subject / KeywordsAll items (most recently added first) -
